Here we go, GB Energy. I was skeptical of energy at first but it was fun at the prerelease. A dedicated energy deck could even be good in Standard Pauper.

Almost everything in the deck creates and uses energy. The only non energy related card is Tidy Conclusion and that’s because it’s a solid removal spell. Tidy Conclusion is expensive in terms of mana but it shoots everything down.

The fun part of energy is it doesn’t matter where the energy came from. Anything that can pay energy can use your energy. Thriving Rats’ energy can pay for a Riparian Tiger attack for example.

Huge note: You can only pay the energy once per attack on Rats/Rhino/Tiger each. I tried hitting someone for 20 with Riparian Tiger at prerelease and yeah no, that is not allowed.
